An accident has led to Babak’s brain death. By his parents’ consent, the doctors transplant Babak’s heart into a girl, named Maryam. Maryam, having gained a new life, decides to appreciate Babak’s family; thereby, she disentangles Babak’s brother, named Bahram who is imprisoned due to many debts. A friendship is formed between Maryam and Babak’s family; Maryam and Elahe, who is Babak’s and Bahram’s sister, get close to each other. Maryam is interested in studying music; however, her parents insist her to marry her cousin, who is living abroad, as soon as possible. Once Elahe tells Maryam that her brother, Bahram, might be able to help her, since he is a musician and a singer. Maryam’s father, having noticed that her daughter is frequently visiting Elahe and Bahram, warns and demands her to stop learning the music and marry her cousin to fulfil his order. On the wedding day, Maryam gets sick; thus, she is taken to the hospital. After some initial examination, her doctor diagnoses that due to excessive agitations and tensions, Maryam’s body has rejected the transplanted heart. Now the only treatment for her is having peace and hope for the future. Nevertheless, as the days pass, she gets worse. The doctor’s last recommendation to her father is providing Maryam with whatever has been withdrawn from her. Hopefully, this may cause a relative improvement in her medical condition. Her father calls Bahram. Thereafter, he comes to visit Maryam in the hospital. Maryam asks him to sing the song which he has made for her. By the end of the song, Maryam passes away.
