Being deeply in love with Abbas, Targol ignores her father’s oppositions and escapes from the house to marry him. Abbas is sent to work in Kish Island; thereby, he sends Targol to his mother to the village. An earthquake demolishes the village. Thereafter, the mother dies and Targol loses her memory as a result of a strike. After a while, Targol meets a lonely woman, named Kokab. She helps Targol to give birth to her daughter, Khatere. Yet, she is unable of remembering her past and continues living in a house with Kokab. Meanwhile, Abbas looks for Targol but he cannot find her. After a while, Abbas comes to believe that Targol is dead. Gradually, Khatere, Abbas’s and Targol’s daughter, grows up. Abbas meets a rich woman, named Marjan. She helps him to find his way inthe cinema. He changes his name to Keyvan Kamyaran. Marjan is by him anywhere he goes and she is going to marry him soon. In his last movie, Keyvan (Abbas) plays the role of a father, who is searching for his little daughter. The role of the little girl is still vacant, and someone is needed to fill it. Khatere, now being seven years old, is fascinated by Keyvan. Thereby, she insists her mother to take her for taking part in the audition. Khatere is accepted and in the process of making the movie, Keyvan and Khatere get close to each other. Keyvan, being fascinated by her as well, takes Khatere to her home after each filming session. Once, he meets Targol; however, she is still unable of remembering him. Due to an incident, Targol gets her memory back. By encountring Abbas (keyvan) again, she cannot forgive him at all. Targol passionately thinks about her own beloved, Abbas. Since Kokab witnesses Targol’s life and notices Khatere’s affection toward her own father, she tries to convince Targol to get back to Abbas. Meanwhile, Marjan, having noticed the recent changes in Keyvan’s life, leaves him and goes abroad.
