David who loves the Iranian art and culture and has memorized the poems of Hafez and Molana, travels Iran and meets Shirin. He is a romantic man so he falls in love with her and believes that he will find his lost half by marrying her, and so decides to reach her in whatever way possible. In order to marry an Iranian girl, he should pass though all he has read in Iranian poems and theosophy in order to pave the way by suffering the pains of the journey he should undergo. Shirin's father, Haj Ebrahim is a disciplined and rigorous man, so David should accept his offers and performs the Iranian traditions exactly and also fulfills all the details and requirements correctly. There are also other obstacles to overcome; that is, Akram, Shirin's mother and Mehdi, her uncle.
