Amir Arsalan falls in love with Farokh Lagha (King Petros's daughter) by seeing an image of her and goes to the west hoping to reach her. The king finds out about this and orders to hang his image over the city gate and kill him. Khajeh Tavoos takes him to a secure place. Amir Houshang (son of King Papas), on the other hand, proposes Farokh Lagha. Arsalan and Amir Houshang go into a struggle and Arsalan kills him. King Petros orders to arrest the murderer. Minister Ghamar plots for him and promises Arsalan that he will send Arsalan and Farokh Lagha to the Roman Empire but he makes Farokh Lagha unconscious with a medicine and captivates her in a garden. Amir Arsalan takes a long journey to save her during which he encounters lots of enemies to reach Farokh Lagha.
