Valeh has devoted most of his time to his political group and anti-regime activities, and therefore does not spend much time with his family. Since he does not have enough money to admit his pregnant wife to the hospital, he gives his watch as a deposit and later on, his wife flees from hospital. She finds out that Valeh has been arrested.She has to endure the hardships of being a single mother. Meanwhile, Valeh endures severe tortures in jail and he starts doubting his political beliefs. His colleagues who need a victim, persuade him to dismiss his fears and face death. He remembers his discussions with one of his friends and eventually faces death without considering his allies' demands.
