A four-person family is building their own home when the enemy attacks their country. Fearing captivity, they abandon their new-made home and leave the city like other people. The main road is under the enemy's fire. Thus their father inevitably takes the devious way to rescue his family, but a technical fault happens to their old pickup truck. The father goes far to find some water and he never comes back. His teenage son, Hiva, comes to his search and finally finds his father injured. Hiva is now responsible to take care of the family. He saves his family by setting up the truck and also killing two Iraqi soldiers.
