Ali Borhan is a film director. He has recently finished his studies and has returned to the country. He decides to make a movie based on a serial story called 'The Paper Bride' written by a friend of his, Jahangir Olfat. Olfat disagrees with him but his wife, Khatereh, convinces him to accept the offer. After a series of auditions, Borhan fails to find his favorite actress, but he eventually finds out that Khatereh is the best choice to play the role.
