Sara, a kind and beautiful girl, is searching for her cottons when she arrives at a cave in which an old lady called Mah Bibi is spinning. She once was the queen (King's wife) and has left the palace by herself. She tells Sara the way leading to the spring of truth to become Mah Pishooni. Sara goes there but when she returns, her stepmom, Nane Soraya, imprisons her because of jealousy. At the same time, a prince is seeking a wife going everywhere. Nane Soraya sends her vicious daughter to Mah Bibi but she becomes an ugly girl. With all the conspiracies and obstacles of Nane Soraya, Sara marries the prince at last.
