Nane Lala's son, Ali, has been gone to Japan to work for over a year, but it has been about 6 months since they last heard any news from him. Everyone, especially the children, know how impatient she is and how much she wishes to hear the news of her son. One hot summer afternoon, all the elders are gone to the cemetery for one of the villagers' funeral when Amir's phone rings. Ali is on the line and wants to speak with Nane Lala. He tells Amir that he will call back in an hour and asks him to bring Nane Lala to the phone. The problem is that Amir's parents have locked all the doors to make him study for his exam. However, Amir escapes through the window and informs all the children to come help him. They try dangerous but at the same time funny ways to take Nane Lala to the phone.
