The funeral of the head of a family, Farzad, is being held years before the revolution. Faramak, his 30-year-old son, has returned to Iran after fifteen years of living in the United States. Katy, the last wife of Farzad, has also returned to Iran in order to attend the funeral. She used to be a famous actress and she had left the country under Farzad's compulsion. Saber Shahin, who has been raised and trusted by Farzad's family since his childhood, is managing Farzad's company. He is also the chief editor of his controversial journal. After Farzad's death, Saber is in charge of all matters. Faramak is looking for a notebook which is believed to be the will of his father. He is seeking to achieve his rights. On the other hand, Katy is trying to use this opportunity and continue her acting career. Saber Shahin tries to discover the family's secrets to get to know the dark corners of Farzad's life. He finds the documents of Farzad's involvements with Freemasonry. He realizes that Farzad was in fact the great master of Freemasons. The life of Faramak and Saber are somehow dominated by the Freemasons. Katy accidentally finds the notebook. She becomes aware of the family secrets and finds out how Saber's father was murdered. From now on, they enter the new stage of their lives. Faramak joins the Freemasonry Legion just like his father. Saber and Katy who have long been interested in each other, start a new relationship. Saber is directing a film and Katy is its main actress. Freemasons try to attract Saber to join their legion and when they fail, they arrange to kill him.
