Khaledeh is a woman from Baku that traveled to Mashhad with her son Ghorban and her deaf and mute daughter Zalifeh, so that they can cure Ghorban’s heart problems. A severe heart attack causes Ghorban to be hospitalized. Rahmat who is a medical student helps them in translation and paying the hospital costs. Rahmat who also helps poor Afghan immigrants and refugees is attacked by smugglers on his way to the border and falls into a coma because of his injuries. He is hospitalized in the same hospital as Ghorban. Rahmat’s father, Rahman who is the care taker of Imam Reza’s shrine meets Khaledeh and her family in the hospital and gradually notices Rahmat’s help toward them. They all go to the shrine to ask for their sons to be healed. The team of doctors inform Rahman that there is no hope in Rahmat’s recovery. Rahman donates his son’s heart to Ghorban and saves his life. Khaledeh and her children go to the shrine to meet Rahman before they leave for Azarbaijan, so that he can hear Rahmat’s heartbeat from Ghorban’s chest.
