In 1974, Mrs. Marion Kaplan a British photographer of National Geographic made a journey from the Persian Gulf to Africa with an Iranian traditional and old sailing ship for reporting on the oldest maritime trade rout. The Iranian and Arab tradition sailing ships were destroyed several years ago leaving nothing but a fading memory, however, some of the sailors and the crewmembers of these ships are still alive in the region. They were so young then but still, some of them can recall the memories and interesting stories of the ship Marion Kaplan sailed.
