Amir Ali is released from prison after twelve years behind the bars for the murder of Sharifeh, his brother’s (Reza) fiancée. The murder happened because of Sharifeh's affair with a man named Ahmad; and Amir Ali did it to protect his family reputation. Before being released, he promises his cell mate, Mohsen Darbandi, to get his money back from someone who owes him and deliver it to a woman named Majdi. . Outside of the jail, Amir Ali doesn’t find the situation favorable.
