Neda Hakimi who doesn't believe in love without money, after four years of being in a romantic relationship with Farhad, breaks up with him to marry Mahmood Foroozesh, a seemingly rich old merchant on condition that all of Mahmood's possessions will be transferred to her. One day, while they are on their honeymoon in Kish, Mahmood disappears. And in her way back to Tehran, Neda who is responsible for all of her husband's financial activities, is arrested and jailed because of not paying off Mahmood's big debts on time. Farhad who has recently become a lawyer, accepts to be Neda's lawyer and convinces Soheyli, the company's main creditor, to let Neda be free until the jury decides a new way for her to clear the debts. Later, Soheyli tells Neda that Foroozesh has been killed in a car accident and if she agrees to marry him, he'll take back his protest. But Neda turns down his proposal. Later on, Soheyli is murdered and all of the evidence is against Neda; so once again she is jailed and Farhad agrees to be her lawyer again. Thanks to Farhad's effort and consistency, it becomes known that the real murderer is Foroozesh who has been hiding all this time. Neda who has met with the bitter and painful reality of her beliefs in life, turns to Farhad, But it's too late.
