First Story: Hava Once Hava, a passionate and enthusiastic girl, turns 9, her grandmother forces her to stop playing with her boy playmates. Her friend Hassan, insists that she should come and play with him. She remembers that she has been told that she was born at noon, and promises her grandmother to return home at noon, and goes to find Hassan. While they are playing, the clock strikes noon and her grandmother puts a veil on her and takes her home. Second Story: Ahou Ahou's husband is furious at her for participating in the bicycle competition for women in Kish Island. He reaches her on horseback during the race and asks her to quit immediately if she does not wish to be punished. Ahou who is determined to win, ignores her husband, but a few minutes later, more men on horseback appear. They are Ahou's brothers who ask her to obey her husband. At this point, Ahou has passed her opponent but the men block her way, her opponent passes her and watches from a distance how she is forced to quit. Thrid Story: Houra An old woman named Houra who is travelling, hires a cart-carrying local boy to help her with her purchases. Houra has purchased many home furnitures including refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, etc and takes them to the beach and lays them out. As she is alone, she asks to adopt one of the boys but none of them accept. Eventually, she leaves on a boat with everything she has bought, as Hava, the veil-wearing girl from the first story, watches her with her mother.
