Reza is a naive apprentice at a wedding dress shop and is in charge of taking sewing materials to sewing shops. He has childlike behaviors and lives a poor life with his father. He is obsessed with one of the shop's mannequins and he talks to her and secretly buys her gloves and socks. When the mannequin is sold, he is rattled until the arrival of a young seamstress called Fariba. Reza now becomes obsessed with her even though they belong to different social classes. Fariba has forgotten her gloves at the shop and has therefore an excuse to go there every day. She believes that Reza is in love with her apprentice, and so she arranges a proposal after which Reza realizes that she is married. So he becomes depressed again. This time he goes to his mother's grave and cries but he stops crying as he hears Masoumeh's voice who lives with her parents in the cemetery. Masoumeh loves Reza, and Reza gradually falls in love with her too. The movie ends with Reza and Masoumeh riding on a bike in the snow.
