A young university professor lives a life of solitude and tranquillity. He studies and teaches literature by day and has no acquaintances except his mother and a bookseller friend. Out of habit, he walks the city streets at nights. One night, as he walks the streets, he notices a girl standing by the street, holding a bag. A driver is harassing her, so she runs to the professor and thus begins their friendship. The professor is curious about her life and finds out about her peculiar secret. T
