Every year in the city of Takayama, Japan, there is held a great and magnificent festival through which the precious works of artists and craftsmen are represented. Thereby, a Japanese designer asks Isfahanian carpet weavers to make her a special carpet. However, since she dies in an accident, her order is left incomplete. Makoto, the designer’s husband and their daughter, Sakura, travel to Iran to find peace of mind and to make sure that the ordered carpet will get weaved as well. In Isfahan, they are hosted by Akbar and his wife, Fariba. Akbar, who is a professional dealer, has already received the cost of the carpet. Thus, he accelerates the weaving process and submits the carpet to Makoto and Sakura on the due time. Meanwhile, Sakura, being depressed due to her mother’s death, regains her spirit and happiness by meeting a young boy, named Ruzbeh, and her surrounding people. At first, her father seems not satisfied with this situation; however, meeting these people gives him a better chance to become more familiar with Iranian people and their culture. The carpet weaving process is impeded now and then. Although, by their cooperation, the process goes on to its end and in the last day, everyone makes a wish and knobs. Sakura and Ruzbeh both make two points in green and pink beside each other in the carpet. The carpet gets weaved. Therefore, Sakura and her father leave Iran. In the festival, the carpet is represented with its two spectacular points in it.
