Tara, Taraneh and Rozhan are three university friends. After their marriage, they can’t manage to keep in touch with each other, but an incident that happens to Tara, makes them recall their past. Tara’s veteran husband insists that she should invite all of the people whose names are mentioned in her book, “The Strawberry Fever”, which is a true story based on her own life, to the launch party. While the party is going on, a stranger walks in and sounds of shooting is heard, and later, the guests find Farhad dead and Tara fiercely wounded. The police think that Tara’s book can be their best clue. They start interrogating every single person whose name is mentioned in the book. Taraneh, one of the three old friends, is also one of them. She has a five-year-old daughter named Ghazaleh, and has been living separately from her husband, and despite his demands about giving their marriage a second chance, she prefers to live alone. During her interrogation, Taraneh recalls that the mutual friend of herself and Tara, Rozhan was forced to marry against her will. But after her marriage, Rozhan managed to run away to a camp near the front lines , and stayed with Tara. Jalal, who was Rozhan's husband and her cousin, tracked her down and Rozhan refused to go with him so they got into a conflict and she got murdered. After the incident, Jalal considered Farhad and his wife Tara to be Rozhan's murderers. Taraneh also recalls that her brother, Touraj, was in love with Tara years ago, but Tara married Farhad. Touraj hates Tara since then, and for this reason, Touraj was now one of the suspects . Finally they find out that the murderer of Rozhan was someone whose nickname is Shahab.
