Ghazal Delaviz and Sourena are both students at the same faculty and both share a passion for poetry. Ghazal’s eye problems get worse so she can no longer pursue her studies and drops out. Sourena tries to help her, but Ghazal completely loses her eyesight. But his companionship causes them to fall for each other. A composer finds Ghazal’s poems and signs a deal with her. Soon Ghazal’s poems and voice gain attention. After meeting Houra Barazandeh, a radio announcer, she also starts reading her poems on the radio. Later a rumor spreads around about Ghazal being banned from working but soon she puts an end to the rumors with her appearance on a TV show and reading out her poems. Sourena writes articles concerning law in newspapers. He gets injured by two bikers and his larynx nerves get damaged, so he loses his ability to speak, and also finds out that Ghazal is married. He feels desperate, so he moves into a village in the north of Iran.. Ghazal tries to reach out to Sourena and explain the misunderstandings between them, but she gets injured in an accident and is taken to a hospital. Sourena soon finds out the truth, and returns to Tehran.
