The First Tale, "Goodbye Friend": Years after the Iran-Iraq war, a midnight, Moslem, a chemically poisoned veteran, wears his battle uniform and decides to go to the Behesht-e Zahra, his mother feels worried but he tells her about the appointment he has with his friends. In Behesh-e Zahra, Moslem meets his martyred friends and rides around the city on a motorcycle with them. In the morning, his mother finds Moslem’s dead body on his bed; he is with his friends now. The Second Tale, "The Momentary Rainbow": A film crew are filming the memorials of the war. Suddenly two Basij members named Mostafa Hosseini and Golreza Mohammadi walk into the frame and demand the crew to listen to their memories of the war. It's getting dark and the crew arrange a meeting with them for the next day to film the rest of their memories on camera, but they don’t show up. The crew goes on a search to find them but they only find their memorial plaques instead. They were martyrs. Hours later, the crew moves into a minefield to film, but as a result of an explosion they all die. The Third Tale, "The Glass Flower": A young girl spends hours in the train station with a lantern and a bouquet of flowers. She is waiting to hand the flowers to one of the soldiers on their way to the war. There are also other girls and boys selling flowers to the soldiers, but this girl never sells her flowers. Later, everyone finds out that she only hands her flowers to a soldier that will soon become a martyr. So every time the girl goes towards the train, all the soldiers eagerly try to catch the flowers, but only the girl knows who is supposed to take them.
