Hassan Santouri is a drug addict who makes his wife and children addicts too. After the Iranian Revolution, he can no longer perform shows, so he decides to smuggle. His son, Ali, also gets involved with smuggling. Once when Ali can’t get the amount of drugs he needs, he passes out at school and gets hospitalized. Hassan’s wife takes the children and leaves him. Afraid of the police, Hassan can no longer return home, so he wanders in the streets. Later he gets into a conflict with one of his old friends, who was also a drug addict because of Hassan, and gets murdered.
