Ahmad Moradi and Akhtar were supposed to marry each other 40 years ago when they were both young, but Akhtar’s family didn’t approve of her marriage with Ahmad at that time,. Now, after four decades of living abroad, Moradi has returned to Tehran and starts thinking about his past memories with Akhtar, and tries to find her. He finally manages to find Akhtar and proposes to her. Akhtar first gets shocked by this but later she accepts; yet her bigot and violent son-in-law tries to intervene. However, they solve the problem with patience and their wish finally comes true.
